As a full-time entrepreneur, I understand the challenges of leadership and managing a demanding job that takes up much of my time. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked in fast-paced environments and dedicated a large part of my life to my career. Achieving work-life harmony while pursuing professional excellence required self-reflection, boundary-setting, and, crucially, self-awareness and self-belief.

As a former therapist, author, and mental health educator, I have gained recognition in various media outlets for my work and expertise. I serve on the Mental Health Advisory Board for Wondermind, a mental fitness company co-founded by Selena Gomez. I also contribute to Well + Good and have been featured in Oprah Daily, Katie Couric Media, Essence, BBC, and Cosmopolitan, among others.

I've delivered keynote talks, conducted workshops, and led engagement sessions on mental health topics for companies such as Meta, Slack, NAMI, Create & Cultivate, Benefit Cosmetics, and Fresh.

My dedication to mental health was born from my personal journey as a Black woman overcoming cultural barriers within my childhood household and navigating the repercussions of being a Black woman in corporate environments. As a coach, my aim is to equip women with the necessary tools to overcome personal and professional challenges, enabling them to thrive in high-stress environments while maintaining their mental well-being.

  • Our journey together begins with a comprehensive 30-minute initial consultation. During this session, we'll get to know each other, discuss your goals, challenges, and priorities, and outline a personalized coaching plan tailored to your needs. This consultation ensures that you are a good fit for this coaching service.

  • Together, we'll establish clear, achievable goals that align with your vision for wellness and success. Whether you aim to reduce stress, cultivate healthier habits, or improve work-life balance, this coaching service will provide the roadmap to help you reach your objectives.

  • Once a contract is signed, we will begin our one-on-one 60-minute coaching sessions. We'll dive deep into the areas of your life where you seek growth and transformation. Each session will be personalized to address your unique challenges and strengths, providing you with valuable insights, strategies, and tools to navigate your wellness journey with confidence.

  • As your coach, I will be your partner and cheerleader every step of the way. I'll provide the accountability and support you need to stay focused, motivated, and committed to your goals. Together, we'll celebrate your successes and overcome any obstacles that may arise along the way.

  • Our coaching sessions will include practical strategies, resources, and exercises designed to support your well-being and personal growth. From stress management techniques to boundary-setting practices, you'll learn valuable tools to empower you in all areas of your life.

This service provides two 60-minute coaching sessions per month for six months. It also includes email support, discounted "clarity calls," session notes, and a coaching roadmap.

  • No. Coaching is not the same as therapy. Despite my background as a psychotherapist, it's crucial to understand that my role is centered on coaching, not therapy. I will not provide mental health treatment, diagnose conditions, or engage in therapeutic interventions.

  • Purpose and Focus: Coaching typically focuses on personal or professional development, goal setting, and performance enhancement. It aims to help clients clarify their goals, identify obstacles, and develop strategies for success. On the other hand, therapy primarily addresses mental health issues, emotional healing, and behavior modification stemming from past experiences.

    Time Frame: Coaching is often short-term and goal-oriented, with sessions focused on achieving specific objectives within a set timeframe. Therapy, however, may be longer-term and more exploratory, delving into deeper-rooted psychological issues over an extended period.

    Client-Centered Approach: In coaching, the client is seen as resourceful and capable of generating solutions with the guidance of the coach. The coaching process empowers clients to take action and responsibility for their choices. In therapy, the focus may be on exploring underlying emotional dynamics and past traumas, with the therapist playing a more directive role in facilitating healing and insight.

    Scope of Practice: Coaches are trained to work with clients who are generally mentally healthy and seeking improvement in specific areas of their lives. Their role is not to diagnose or treat mental health disorders. Therapists, on the other hand, are trained mental health professionals who diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

  • Coaching is ideal if you're seeking support in achieving specific goals, enhancing performance, or navigating life transitions. If you're looking to improve your well-being, develop healthier habits, or achieve greater success in your personal or professional life, coaching can provide you with the tools, strategies, and accountability to make meaningful changes.

    Therapy is recommended if you're dealing with mental health concerns, emotional challenges, or unresolved issues from the past that are significantly impacting your daily life and functioning. A therapist can help you explore underlying patterns, process difficult emotions, and develop coping skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health conditions.

    During our initial consultation, I will be able to assess if coaching is right for you. However, at any point during our time working together, if I, as your coach, determine that you may be at high risk and in need of therapeutic treatment, I reserve the right to recommend terminating our coaching services. Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance, and in such cases, I will provide guidance and support in finding appropriate therapeutic resources to address your needs effectively.

  • I offer a scholarship option for a 3-month coaching program. If you need a scholarship, please fill out this form.

  • Due to the nature of the service, I cannot issue refunds.

  • For clients registered for the six-month coaching program, I will be available via email to answer any questions that you may have. If you need more in-depth support, you can purchase a clarity coaching call for a discounted price of $200 per 60-minute session.

  • All coaching sessions are conducted virtually.

  • If you are enrolled in the six-month coaching program, we will meet twice monthly for six months. If you choose the clarity coaching calls, you may book these sessions at your own pace.
